Education and Training Jobs
An Education and Training Professional in the insurance industry is responsible for designing and implementing training programs that aim to improve the skills and knowledge of employees in various insurance concepts and practices. They ensure that all staff members, from customer service to claims adjusters, understand the complexities of insurance policies, underwriting, claims processing, and risk management. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), can be beneficial. Prior to becoming an Education and Training professional, an individual might have roles such as an Insurance Agent, Claims Adjuster, or Underwriter, where they gain in-depth knowledge of the industry. Experience in a training or teaching role, even in a different industry, can also be valuable.
