Senior Claims Examiner

Title: Senior Claims Examiner Location: Hybrid - Trenton, New Jersey Position Overview : Our client, a respected insurance carrier, is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner to join their team. As a key member of the liability claims team, you will focus on investigating and documenting significant exposures, maintaining claims files, and managing key client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Ensure claims are handled in alignment with established procedures by maintaining complete, accurate records and safeguarding the quality and integrity of all claim data. Lead factfinding efforts by examining loss details, documenting findings, and establishing appropriate reserves that reflect potential indemnity and expense exposure. Move matters efficiently toward closure by negotiating resolutions independently and alongside defense counsel, including attending mediations or trials when needed. Foster clear and timely communication with insureds, internal teams, and claim leadership to ensure transparency, alignment, and informed decisionmaking throughout the claim process. Demonstrate commitment to professional excellence by following recognized industry standards, participating in ongoing training, and supporting additional responsibilities as business needs require. Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of bodily injury claims experience.. Proven record of success in negotiation & investigation. Self-starter with ability to collaborate.
