Insurance Claims Examiner Adjuster Specialist Professional Liability Medical Malpractice MedMal Allied Healthcare _ .
REMOTE - WORK FROM HOME MAY BE AVAILABLE
Work directly with physicians and attorneys to coordinate defense of insureds in dental and medical malpractice claims. This is a remote, home-based position.
Review medical records, policies, and coverage.
Establish reserves.
Recommend defense strategy and estimate potential damages.
Assign and monitor defense counsel.
Attend trials, mediations, and first suit meetings.
Negotiate settlements or execute denials.
Record relevant claims data in computer system.
