The Wolfe Insurance Agency is a family owned and operated Independent Insurance Agency. We’ve been serving the Finger Lakes Region since 1974, with offices in Canandaigua and Brighton, New York. Our customers are a part of our family. Other agencies may offer similar coverage, but our renowned service comes with a personal touch.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals
• Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues
• Analyze clients' current insurance policies and make recommendations for improvements or additional coverage
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Explain policy features, benefits, and exclusions to clients
• Process policy applications, endorsements, and renewals
• Assist clients with claims filing and follow-up
• Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and other insurance professionals to ensure client satisfaction
• Process policy changes and handle claims

Required Skills:

• Personal Lines Insurance experience
• Active Property and Casualty License
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize job tasks
• Proven experience in customer service roles
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for policy management
• Consistent attendance and solid work ethic

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in Commercial Lines insurance

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of insurance software systems

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, salary commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, flexible schedules, paid vacation and sick time, paid parental leave, and paid short-term disability.  We are planning to offer a health and dental insurance plan on the NYS Marketplace for our employees before end of year.
