Description

This is a remote position. You will be required to go into the office twice a week if you reside within 50 miles of any Liberty Mutual Office. Please note this policy is subject to change.

Using various systems, standard operating procedures, and instructions from stakeholders, with a focus on Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance processes, the responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Collaborate closely with vendor partners to gather and validate source information required for accurate processing and servicing of Property and Casualty insurance products.
  • Maintain and update documentation supporting compliance and Attestation controls, ensuring adherence to P&C regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, actuarial teams, and external vendors, to facilitate accurate policy administration and claims processing.
  • Work closely with our vendor partners to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual obligations and address any operational issues promptly.
  • Apply, interpret, validate, and maintain standard operating procedures with an understanding of P&C insurance terminology, coverages, endorsements, and policy lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong quality assurance (QA) skills by performing detailed reviews of vendor deliverables, system outputs, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing P&C policy issuance and servicing workflows and participate in root cause problem solving exercises related to P&C operations.
  • Participate actively in team huddles, share P&C-specific knowledge and best practices, and adhere to our diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and principles.
  • Engage in self-development to deepen expertise in Property and Casualty insurance products, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and business partners on P&C policy procedures and system usage to promote consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience plus 1 to 2 years of insurance industry experience required.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow and refine detailed processing instructions.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and processing systems.
  • Solid customer service skills.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
