Brown & Brown is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our growing team in Milwaukee, WI!

The Benefits Analyst within the ACS Practice plays a pivotal role in delivering data-driven insights, financial modeling, and vendor evaluation to support employer-sponsored onsite health centers, direct contracting initiatives, and healthcare delivery optimization. This position partners closely with consultants, clients, and vendor partners to inform strategic decisions throughout feasibility and performance phases of onsite and near-site health solutions.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Build financial modeling for clinic feasibility studies, including ROI projections, breakeven analysis and steerage potential using claims and eligibility data.

  • Analyze vendor pricing proposals, develop comparative pricing matrices, and support financial reviews during RFP finalist selection.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting inclusive of utilization trends, clinic user vs. non-user analysis, and performance dashboards

  • Maintain and update proprietary reporting templates and benchmarking tools.

  • Develop SMART goals and track progress over time across clinic locations or service expansions.

  • Conduct semi-annual reviews and provide insights to support clinic strategy evolution and long-term performance management.

  • Partner with consultants to prepare polished, client-facing deliverables including strategy roadmaps, vendor summaries, ROI insights, and board presentation materials.

  • Translate technical data into digestible formats to facilitate executive decision-making.

  • Coach junior analysts and help standardize reporting methodologies across the team.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance , Economics, Public Health, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits, healthcare analytics, or health consulting, ideally in self-funded employer environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong ability to manipulate large datasets and model financial scenarios.

  • Working knowledge of medical claims, plan design structure, and utilization analysis; experience with PBM, TPA, or onsite clinic vendor data preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor outputs for HR teams, finance leaders, and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced consulting environments.

  • Data-Driven Communicator: Able to distill complex analytics into clear strategic recommendations.

  • Client-Centric: Maintains high responsiveness and professionalism in client interactions.

  • Collaborative Contributor: Thrives in a team-based environment, supporting multiple workstreams.

  • Detail-Oriented Executor: Tracks deadlines, manages deliverables, and ensures precision in reporting.
