Official Notice West Deer Township Finance Officer West Deer Township is accepting applications for a Finance Officer to maintain: accurate books of accounts payable and receivable; payroll; and daily, monthly, and annual financial entries and reconciliations. The person is also charged with the filing of mandatory governmental reports and assists in the audit process. A HS diploma/GED, valid drivers license, and knowledge of governmental fund accounting is required; a four-year degree in finance, accounting, or a similar track - or at least four years of governmental accounting experience in lieu of a degree - is preferred. Must be able to be bonded. Probationary starting salary of up to $80,000 - depending on qualifications and other requirements - plus a fabulous benefit package.
