PCS is currently recruiting for a CFO/Financial Controller position . The CFO will oversee accounting, financial controls, and the overall financial health of the organization, including managing back-office operations, the organization's internal budget and finances, overseeing investment opportunities and revenue cycles, developing financial strategies, and leading a small administrative team. The CFO is a member of the senior executive management team based at the administrative office in Covington, TN. Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, and oversight of employees involved with finance, accounting, billing, and other revenue functions. Duties/Responsibilities: Maintains full integrity of all revenues and expenses, ensuring organization policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, are followed (including 501c3 compliance as needed). Prepare financial statements and presents them to the board of directors. Works with the CPA Firm to ensure a smooth, timely independent audit is completed and filed. Manages and oversees the finances of the employee captive health insurance model. Works with the CEO and other members of management to lead commercial insurance renewals, ensuring adequate coverage across various business lines, including general liability, professional liability, property, auto, cyber, workers' compensation, directors and officers, employment practices, and other coverages. Works with pharmacy team members and the pharmacists-in-charge at each pharmacy to manage all pharmacy purchasing agreements, including rebate programs. Create, update, and implement standard workflows, manuals, and operating procedures for finance, accounting, billing, and other revenue cycles. Establishes KPIs and metrics for the various departments based on productivity and cost goals Monitors interventions needed for the revenue cycle and the various revenue streams Supervises the payroll department's operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Compiles fiscal estimates and prepares fiscal reports as requested. Participates in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for the company. Supports project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests. Manages the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems. Creates and monitors cost analysis, budgets, projections, and forecasts as needed for the company and its clients. Analyzes variances between actual and estimated budgets and produces reports for the Board of Directors to inform decision-making. Implement processes that encourage and inform the organization on how to increase reimbursement levels. Assists the leadership team in identifying financial improvement opportunities with the facilities Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the revenue cycles and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Actively participates in the negotiation and contracting with vendors, payers, partners, etc. Ensures all department duties, responsibilities, and goals are met in a timely manner. What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master's Degree and additional certifications (i.e., CPA, CMA, CFA) are a plus. 5 - 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including management of teams or individual staff, required. Advanced competency in the application of complex and in-depth business knowledge related to Strategic Finance, including knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, billing and finance, and extensive experience interpreting analytical results and providing recommendations on solving business problems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced computer, database, and spreadsheet skills. Ability to plan, organize, and lead the work of others, while developing department goals and objectives consistent with organizational vision and strategies. Ability to think analytically, apply analytical techniques, and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to senior management using critical thinking and sound judgment. Proven ability to work with all levels of the staff and management, both as a self-starter and in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
