Billing Customer Service Representative

LHH Recruiting seeking an experienced Billing Customer Service Representative to join our client's call center team in Mesa, AZ. In this role, you will assist customers with billing questions, account updates, payment concerns, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, excellent problem solving ability, and at least 2 years of customer service or billing support experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls related to billing inquiries, statements, charges, adjustments, and account status.
  • Research account details, verify information, and provide accurate resolutions with a customer first mindset.
  • Process payments, answer invoicing questions, and assist with billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all customer interactions.
  • Educate customers on billing cycles, service charges, and available account tools/resources.
  • Follow company policies and compliance requirements to protect customer information.
  • Meet performance goals across quality, productivity, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a call center, billing, financial services, utilities, telecom, healthcare billing, or similar customer?facing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast?paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience with customer service software, billing systems, CRM platforms, and general computer skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving ability.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance and performance.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
