Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing strategies in fluid environments, with excellent business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the desired business outcome.
  • Experience in leadership with complex strategic and operational initiatives, across multiple products, functions, and geographies.
  • Knowledge of the current ML landscape, infrastructure investments and strategic priorities.
  • Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influence decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze the financial models to support strategic initiatives and improve on forecasting methodologies and frameworks.
  • Develop an understanding of Googles technical infrastructure and economics behind the significant investments needed to support AI/ML demand.
  • Perform benchmark analysis and the operational assessments to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Lead complex strategic initiatives in partnership with TI Finance and cross-functional teams to guide Googles ML footprint and balance the requirements of the business while delivering capacity cost-effectively.
