Dealer Auditor

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in Fishkill, NY, with extensive travel across the Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse areas. As a key player in ensuring compliance and integrity within our dealer network, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and fairness of our warranty policies and procedures.

• Conduct audits of dealer warranty claim submissions and initiate chargebacks for noncompliance.
• Prepare and maintain records of all audit-related communications, including notification letters and audit result reports.
• Develop methods for analyzing warranty KPIs and claim submission patterns to identify potential deviations.
• Coordinate with dealership management and regional operations to ensure compliance with Warranty and Dealer Policy manuals.
• Provide training and support to improve compliance with warranty policies and procedures.
• Contribute to dealer network initiatives and internal audit projects.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance dealer compliance in warranty-related business areas.

• Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive retail with a strong background in technical and warranty-related processes.
• 5-7 years of experience in automotive retail processes, with an emphasis on fixed operations departments.
• Proficient in automotive technical information systems and repair/diagnostic procedures.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (O365).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Understanding of risk management, control objectives/activities, and controls.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business environments and responsibilities.

• Experience with franchised dealership models.
• Proven ability to resolve diverging perspectives and build trust with stakeholders.
