The Bradford Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst II to support financial reporting, compliance, and enterprise-wide planning and analysis. This hybrid role combines corporate accounting, debt/ESOP compliance, and FP&A responsibilities, including ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial systems administration (Workday Adaptive). This position plays a key role in delivering accurate financial insights, maintaining compliance with debt covenants, supporting cash and capital structure planning, and providing executive leadership with actionable analysis, KPIs, and reporting to drive strategic decision-making.

How you will contribute:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial reporting packages related to credit agreement compliance requirements
  • Review weekly borrowing base calculations and schedules
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with lender debt covenants
  • Perform accounting and financial analysis related to corporate debt and ESOP structure
  • Manage accounting, budgeting, and reforecasting for the parent holding company (debt/ESOP)
  • Serve as liaison with lender: support reporting, audits, and capital structure analysis

FP&A, Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes across global operations
  • Join in partnering with business leaders to understand drivers of financial performance and gather planning inputs
  • Complete initial financial analysis, including variance reporting (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year)
  • Provide insights into operational, financial, and strategic performance through KPIs and trend analysis
  • Respond to management inquiries and provide decision-support analysis
  • Evaluate foreign exchange impacts on financial performance

Financial Systems & Data Management (Workday Adaptive)

  • Serve as backup administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning (configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations, security)
  • Provide user training and support budgeting tools adoption
  • Assist in system enhancements to improve cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, and integration across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

Process Improvement & Special Projects

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time
  • Develop and document policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Lead or support cross-functional and strategic finance projects
  • Provide leadership on special projects and may guide junior team members

What you will bring and skills that excite us:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, FP&A, or financial analysis
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Experience with financial systems such as Workday Adaptive, HFM, Essbase, or SAP preferred
  • Prior experience supporting debt financing, treasury, or ESOP structures is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial modeling
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling; macros a plus)
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial data to non-financial audiences
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies
  • Experience administering or working within financial planning systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and independently
  • CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • Preferred experience with debt covenant reporting, including borrowing base
  • Preferred expereince with ERP implementations or system enhancements
  • Experience with using AI tools for process improvements/streamlining work

Compensation:

  • $88,000 - 98,000
