Staff Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a high-growth startup in Fremont, CA to hire a Staff Accountant on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, expanding organization where your work will have immediate impact. You will work alongside a supportive leadership team and be mentored by a Controller and Senior Accountant who are invested in your growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Support audit requests and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare financial reports and assist with ad hoc analysis
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience required
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
- Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
