The Role This individual will provide legal counsel and representation across a broad range of corporate, transactional, contractual, and commercial matters for the organization and its affiliated entities. The person will work closely with executive leadership, internal business teams, and outside counsel to support strategic objectives, minimize legal risk, and provide practical business-focused legal guidance. Provide legal representation and strategic counsel related to contracts, acquisitions, financial matters, commercial transactions, and corporate operations. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage sophisticated commercial agreements and legal documents. Support mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and other strategic business initiatives. Research and analyze legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to provide practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders. Communicate complex legal concepts effectively to colleagues and leadership across all levels of the organization. Collaborate with outside counsel and internal business teams on ongoing legal, operational, and compliance matters. Assist with corporate governance, risk management, regulatory matters, and related business functions. Provide legal support related to insurance products, sales administration, and associated business operations as needed. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school along with active membership in the Oklahoma Bar Association required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate, commercial, transactional, or contract law with strong legal drafting and negotiation skills required. Advanced knowledge of corporate and commercial law with the ability to manage complex legal matters, provide practical business guidance, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with privacy law, insurance law, insurance product sales/administration, or insurance broker compliance is preferred but not required.
