SNAPSHOT: Rate of pay: $26.00 per hour Contract assignment through the end of 2026 100% remote Must have active Health Insurance License Must be able to work an 8-hour shift from 8:00am to 8:00pm any day of the week. Weekends, OT, and some holidays are required Job Summary: The Conservation Specialist is a licensed insurance sales agent that is responsible for retaining existing customers who are calling to cancel plans. This will include, but not limited to, assisting customers with applying for new coverage within Cigna Healthcare. The Conservation specialist is also responsible for assisting Under 65 customers (U65). Duties and Responsibilities: Receive calls from existing Medicare Supplement customers looking to cancel their current policy and assess /identify the reason for the cancellation request. Conduct a needs assessment to determine options to address customer's cancellation reasons. Outbound calls to existing customers as part of a Wellness Check. Successfully upsell/cross sell existing customers as available. Participate in other assigned Sales Team projects as needed. Provide feedback and guidance on market nuances, marketing campaigns and plan operations. Other duties as assigned. Maintain knowledge of all products, processes, and procedures. Consistently maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Participate in meetings and required trainings. Maintain active license and appointment in all Healthspring Medicare markets. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts in accordance with CMS guidelines. Ability to work OT as business requires. Ability to multi task between multiple systems. QUALIFICATIONS Adaptable, flexible, and ability to manage through change. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Goal oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed. Demonstrate effective communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and fosters a team environment. Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time. Demonstrate accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment. Experience with technology includes high level use of laptops, camera and desk phones. Demonstrate ability to leverage Script, Tools & Technology. Cable broadband or Fiber Optic with internet speeds of at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Holds current license in residential state or if inactive willing to renew Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail. Experience performing valuable Needs Analysis to understand Customer needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in navigating Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams. Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently. Adhere to compliance requirements. Understanding of the various Healthspring Medicare products (Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, Ancillary) Strong telephone verbal and listening skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Dedication and commitment to exceptional customer service when selling and servicing our customers.
