Fleet Operations Specialist

Responsible for administrative, tactical, and data functions of the Fleet Department.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
Plan, direct, and coordinate the operation of all fleet vehicles and fleet related equipment.
Analyze and recommend vehicle types and specifications.
Maintains relationship with Fleet Management Company, negotiate lease financing terms, fuel card program, maintenance program, and other programs as needed.
Maintain relationship with Vehicle Manufacturers, negotiate pricing and rebates.
Maintain a strong working relationship with field locations to help assess needs.
Supports company policies and procedures to ensure that fleet vehicles are assigned and re-assigned timely and accurately, and that vehicles are adhering to timely maintenance schedules.
Supports company field locations and operations by maintaining a system to collect and analyze fleet and safety related data such as: Fleet data, maintenance reports, vehicle files, motor vehicle accidents (MVAs), workers compensation injuries, and general liability/property damage incidents.
Fleet vehicle telematics data, fuel card data, and toll pass reports, vehicle registrations.
Driving and motor vehicle events such as red-light camera violations, thefts, vandalisms, and motorists complaints.
Coordinates delivery of new and in-service vehicles; ensure associated items such as telematics systems, first aid kits, fuel cards, insurance cards, are delivered in conjunction with the asset.
Coordinates pick up and removal of all terminated vehicles.
Supports location managers in coordination of vehicle repair and maintenance services.
Coordinates with insurance carrier and fleet vendors to repair or replace company vehicles damaged in MVAs.
Ensure licensing and renewal of all fleet vehicles are completed in a timely manner.
Supports recordkeeping and administrative functions of the Fleet Department.
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Have obtained a valid driver s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet auto insurance guidelines to operate a company fleet vehicle.
Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of all office equipment.
Eligible to legally work in the United States.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.
