Location: Hybrid – Basking Ridge, NJ (on-site Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Duration: Approximately 6 months

Schedule: Full-time

Pay Rate: $35/hour

Position Overview

This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration of claims ranging from routine to complex and requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of workers compensation claims from intake through resolution
• Analyze statutory and policy coverage, including primary and excess coverage
• Conduct claim investigations and oversee litigation and budget management through trial and appeal, as applicable
• Coordinate medical management and oversee vendor, medical, and settlement payments
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves
• Handle claim reporting, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement activities

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 35 years of progressively responsible workers compensation claims experience
• Demonstrated experience handling New Jersey workers compensation claims
• Strong knowledge of claim procedures, statutes, compliance requirements, insurance laws, and coverage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
