The Risk Mgmt Representative supports all aspects of the risk management, worker's compensation, and/or insurance programs of FMOLHS by preparing reports of activities within department, submitting invoices, and reconciling financials for accurate budgetary assignment and any other administrative support needed in the department.
RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial
- Prepares payment vouchers for departmental invoices.
- Reviews accuracy of financial payments.
- Provides monthly reconciliation of all billing and research discrepancies.
Reporting
- Prepares statistical reports for risk management or workers' compensation.
- Prepare summary data for annual workers compensation reports and other state, federal agencies or incident reporting.
- Distributes reports to managers, department heads, and others as required.
Administrative
- Reviews subpoenas and forwards to appropriate parties. Assists with scheduling of depositions and court appearances.
- Monitors departmental projects to ensure timely completion and assists other team members.
- Answers phone, takes accurate messages, does filing and data entry to assist other team members.
Experience: 5 years in relevant healthcare related
