Wally’s is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loss Prevention Specialist to help protect company assets, reduce shrink, and support a safe, secure shopping environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational integrity through surveillance, reporting, and partnership with store leadership.

- Monitor store activity and conduct surveillance and inspections
- Perform receipt checks to prevent theft and shortage
- Identify and report suspicious behavior, safety risks, and policy violations
- Respond to and accurately document incidents and investigations
- Complete detailed reports in accordance with Wally’s SOPs
- Support merchandise recovery and apprehension efforts (per company policy)
- Analyze shrink trends and assist in executing shortage reduction plans
- Utilize video surveillance systems effectively
- Partner with leadership to address high-risk areas and improve controls
- Deliver a safe, secure, and professional guest experience
- Maintain compliance with all safety, ethical, and company standards
- Follow uniform and Loss Prevention guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Previous experience in loss prevention, retail, or guest service preferred
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Frequently use hands, reach, and perform repetitive motions
- Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
