Commercial Lines Insurance Producer

The Commercial Lines Producer is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities from a variety of sources. This role requires developing deep expertise in Dillingham Insurances products and services, while consistently demonstrating behaviors and values aligned with the organization.

In addition to new business development, the Producer manages and strengthens relationships with existing clients. Working closely with account management and service teams, the Producer ensures the delivery of consistent value, high-quality service, and long-term client satisfaction.

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Generating insurance quotes.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
• Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective clients goals.
• All other duties as required or requested.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum of three years-experience in property and casualty production - preferred.
Property & Casualty License within 30 days of joining firm.
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Create relationships from a cold start.
Be a fantastic presenter.
Prior sales experience.
Must be highly self-motivated.
