Multi-Line Claims Adjuster

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Lines Claims Adjuster to join our team in a hybrid setup in Red Deer, Alberta . The successful candidate will evaluate claims through loss investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.

• Investigate multi-line claims and adjust losses
• Reviews and analyzes experts reports
• Selects and directs independent experts
• Maintains accurate expense accounts
• Work with manager to maintain client relations
• Ability to liaise and work with all facets of the insurance community including brokers, risk managers, legal counsel and regulators

• 2 to 5 years functional and technical experience in an insurance environment
• Independent adjusting license or working towards CIP designation
• Experience in road adjusting including the investigation and detailed reporting of claims
• Experience handling property and casualty claims
• Post Secondary education in an insurance related field considered an asset
• Working knowledge of Xactimate and Xactanalysis an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently
• Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
