PRISM Inc. is seeking a Subrogation Manager to lead strategic recovery efforts in a multi-state property claims environment. This leader will oversee staff and vendors, manage high-stakes arbitration and litigation, and drive recovery benchmarks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Oversight: Direct all property subrogation activities, including investigation, litigation, and arbitration, to maximize recovery across the enterprise.
Vendor & Legal Management: Supervise TPAs, collection agencies, and counsel; serve as Corporate Representative for legal proceedings and mediations.
Strategy & Policy: Develop and enforce subrogation policies, granting technical authority and providing strategic direction on complex liability evaluations.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to internal best practices and state regulatory requirements through rigorous file auditing and quality control.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on key metrics (recovery ratios, cycle times, litigation outcomes) and coordinate reinsurance recovery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Claims, Legal, and Underwriting to preserve recovery rights, specifically for large-loss and CAT events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Skills/Education):
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; AIC or CPCU designations highly valued.
Experience: 7-10 years in property claims/subrogation management, including field and leadership experience within an insurance company or large TPA.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of liability analysis, comparative negligence, product liability, and arbitration. Experience in FL, TX, or CA markets is preferred.
Core Skills: Proven ability to evaluate large/complex recoveries, manage TPAs/legal counsel, and deliver executive-level communication.
Tech & Licensing: Proficient in Microsoft 365; must hold a valid driver's license and a FL 620 or TX Adjuster license.
