Adecco is currently assisting one of its clients in their search for a Claims Examiner working remotely or onsite in Las Vegas, NV!
Pay rate: $35/hr
Shift availability: Mon- Fri, 8a-430p
Onsite in Las Vegas, NV or remote (must be licensed in NV)

To analyzeplex or technically difficult workers'pensation claims to determine benefits due; to work with high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation; to ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within service expectations, industry best practices and specific client service requirements; and to identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
Our ideal candidate must have/must be able to:
Manages workerspensation claims determiningpensability and benefits due on long term indemnity claims, monitors reserve accuracy, and files necessary documentation with state agency
Develops and manages workerspensation claims' action plans to resolution, coordinates return-to-work efforts, and approves claim payments
Approves and processes assigned claims, determines benefits due, and manages action plan pursuant to the claim or client contract
Manages subrogation of claims and negotiates settlements
Communicates claim action with claimant and client
Ensures claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct
May processplex lifetime medical and/or defined period medical claims which include state and physician filings and decisions on appropriate treatments rmended by utilization review
Maintains professional client relationships
Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience requirements:
4+ years of Workers Compensation Claims experience or equivalent work and education
SIP required (NV)
Excellentmunication andanizational skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to meet or exceed service expectations

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
