Position: Financial Analyst
Reports to: Director, Finance
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000

We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

Superior is looking for a Financial Analyst to lead and manage our Indirect, Selling, General, & Administrative (ISGA) reconciliations and analysis. This role will oversee overhead expenses for the company, including annual budgeting and regular forecast updates, as well as monthly analysis of actuals. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support forecasting and monthly analysis of Indirect, Selling, General & Administrative (ISGA) expenses, for both labor and non-labor
  • Contribute to the annual budget process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with department and company goals
  • Partner with department leaders on overhead spending, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Development of labor utilization models to improve real-time forecasting
  • Assist with capital expenditures and fixed asset estimating, assuring large expenses are appropriately planned for
  • Collaborate with Corporate Affairs team to support funding for enterprise pursuits in employee appreciation, philanthropy, and quarterly town hall meetings
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Your Expertise

  • Required: You have at least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or business analytics
  • Required: You earned your Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Bonus Points: You’re familiar with Finance in the construction industry
