Summary: This position is responsible for playing a vital role in supporting agencies and selectively pursuing profitable growth opportunities with them. Your primary focus is to empower our agency partners to find solutions to their questions using streamlined processes and technology, helping to deliver exceptional service, driving engagement, and identifying sales opportunities. Your efforts ensure efficient communication and collaboration with our agencies, facilitating the achievement of our enterprise goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Regional Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate closely with the state Inside Territory Sales Manager and Territory Sales Manager to execute agency management processes, including engagement, training, compensation, and optimization.
- Agency Partnership Development:
- Work with Inside Territory Sales Manager and Territory Sales Manager to build and maintain strong, tiered agency partnerships through regular virtual interactions, focusing on mutual accountability and growth.
- Trusted Advisor Role:
- Serve as a dependable advisor to agency partners and an effective internal collaborator, facilitating engagement and solution-finding with our services.
- Quality and Risk Management:
- Define target markets clearly and address profitability or quality concerns with agents and internal partners.
- Collaborative Internal Engagement:
- Partner with internal units like underwriting, product management, and claims to leverage opportunities, address challenges, share insights, and advocate for our agents/customers.
- Utilization of Tools and Programs:
- Use both internal and external tools and programs consistently to support the Independent Agent channel, including CRM.
- Administrative Assistance:
- Assist Sales Leadership with administrative tasks such as problem-solving, research, events, and coordination of agency transactions.
What You’ll Bring To The Company:
Qualifications: Educational and Professional Background:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance preferred.
Sales and Growth Expertise:
Proven track record in revenue growth and achieving sales targets, strong partnership building, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Communication and Interpersonal Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in negotiation and presenting; high customer focus and strong interpersonal skills.
Organizational and Technical Proficiency:
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with virtual meeting technologies (Teams & Zoom).
Licensing and Compliance:
Ability to obtain any required state licensing.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
