The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for accounting and reporting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resulting managerial reports and financial statements for Bath and Body Works Digital. This role requires a background in accounting with the ability to perform financial data analysis. This is a highly visible Senior Financial Analyst position for one of the worlds most prominent brands with annual sales exceeding $7B. This position reports directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting and serves as a key liaison with various cross functional business partners. The ideal candidate will be not only experienced in accounting & reporting, but also passionate, motivated, and energized by the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the industry.
ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the monthly and quarterly close cycles including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and variance and account analysis.
Completing financial statement disclosures checklist; maintain and prepare detailed work papers to support financial statements.
Preparing monthly variance analysis for management on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
Leading ad hoc analysis and special projects on an as needed basis.
Maintaining financial and operational controls and procedures.
Identifying and implementing accounting process changes in support of continued growth of the business.
Building strong relationships with cross functional (operational) business partners.
Preparing all work in a timely manner with a high level of attention to detail.
Clearly articulating and communicating ideas and explanations.
Maintaining strong internal control environment.
4-6 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting firm experience preferred).
CPA or successful progress toward CPA is preferred, not required.
Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build cross functional partnerships.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and accounting system packages; experience with SAP preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
