salary: $21.99 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and analyze group materials and enrollment forms to assess medical risk using approved guidelines.

  • Evaluate business eligibility including participation levels and legitimacy.

  • Process data in web-based underwriting applications and worksheets.

  • Lead user acceptance testing and coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Analyze new business proposals, broker appointments, and employer group changes.

  • Build relationships with internal departments to improve agent and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

  • strong grasp of medical terminology and/or anatomy is essential.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred — or equivalent insurance-related experience.

  • Familiarity with health insurance markets and underwriting concepts.

  • strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office; experience with Access is a plus.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, typical business hours
