Brown & Brown is seeking a Professional Liability Account Manager to join our growing team!
The Professional Liability Account Manager w ork s jointly with the Professional Lines Leader and Office L eader with respect to servicing the Professional Lines client base. Collaborate with the producer(s) in the servicing and marketing of new accounts in accordance with the standards and procedures of the office .
How You Will Contribute:
Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing needs and resolving underwriting or policy issues with appropriate resources .
Manage and retain an existing book of business while pursuing opportunities for account rounding and new business.
Ensure compliance with audit and performance standards set by the leadership .
Provide timely follow-up to client inquiries and resolve service issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate , up-to-date records and documentation in the agency management system, including IO requirements.
Handle daily administrative tasks such as processing mail, emails, faxes, and managing phone inquiries.
Prepare client bills , invoices, renewals, proposals, and presentations in line with customer requirements.
Underwrite new and renewal business within carrier authority and guidelines.
Support the end-to-end client service process, including marketing and documentation updates.
Participate in meetings, adhere to agency procedures, and stay current with tasks, emails, and reporting tools.
Licenses and Certifications:
Holds an active Insurance Producer license in good standing, with appropriate state authorizations to support assigned book of business
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
2+ years functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level (preferred)
Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge relevant to the targeted industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of leveraging technology to support daily responsibilities
Competent in the use of standard office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, fax machines, binding machines)
Communicates professionally and courteously by phone, demonstrating respect and active listening
Committed to upholding confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity

Pay Range
$31.25 - $36.05 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
