Brown & Brown is seeking a Property and Casua lty Account Manager to join our growing team in M il waukee, WI!

The Property and Casualty Account Manager p rovides high quality customer service while assisting in the coordination of services between the client and the insurance company. Providing support for our internal service team. This includes such activities as reviewing binders, policies and endorsements for accuracy, maintaining files, and creating documents such as specifications, proposals, binders and insurance summaries. Participates in the marketing process and provides clerical support to the team.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Responds promptly to client inquiries and requests while keeping the service team informed.

  • Prepares, processes, and reviews insurance documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with quoted and bound coverages.

  • Collects and analyzes client data, including Schedules of Values, to support insurance placement and renewals.

  • Handles routine requests from clients, underwriters, and internal staff, ensuring timely and accurate communication.

  • Develops and maintains client service plans, manages mid-term changes, and contributes to Stewardship reviews.

  • Manages new client setup and ongoing maintenance in agency management systems, including document uploads and open item tracking.

  • Prepares premium finance agreements, creates premium allocations, verifies invoicing accuracy, and resolves accounting issues.

  • Requests and summarizes loss runs, processes claims when necessary, and advocates for clients during the claims process.

  • Supports new account development and evaluates accounts for potential uninsured or underinsured exposures.

  • Participates in marketing efforts, including contacting markets, reviewing quotes, and preparing proposals, while pursuing continuing education and assisting with special projects.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • College degree preferred.

  • 3 or more years related experience and participates in continuing education in order to maintain the appropriate level of credentials.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven commitment to high quality customer service .

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service .

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting service requirements .

  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of Brown & Brown systems and processes.

  • Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems .

  • Ability to work in a team environment that is constantly changing .
