Brown & Brown is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA.
The Financial Analyst will work closely with Account Managers and Producers to obtain, analyze, and present carrier and vendor proposals for agency clients and prospects. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate and competitive insurance solutions by negotiating with carriers and leveraging data to support renewal strategies. The Financial Analyst will interpret and communicate financial findings to internal teams and clients, ensuring the best available terms and conditions in the marketplace are clearly understood and effectively presented.
How You Will Contribute:
Work closely with Producer and Account Managers for placement of new & renewal business.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required.
Review, analyze and spread a variety of carrier programs based on the needs of the client.
Cultivate quality working relationships with insurance companies.
Compile and create RFPs, client proposals and additional analytical documents as requested.
Master Brown & Brown agency management systems (BAM, ThreeFlow, etc.).
Consistently meets all Brown & Brown established quality control practices (including system documentation).
Actively participate in social, civic, and trade organizations to represent Brown & Brown's community/client commitment.
Licenses and Certifications:
Life and health insurance license (if not already held, obtain within 30 days of hire)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
1+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on employee benefits and/or human resources (Preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to act tactically and anticipate customer needs
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a proactive mindset
Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills
Proficient in management systems supporting insurance sales, tracking, and service
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Pay Range
$24.04 - $33.65 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
