Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team in FT Wayne IN!

The Account Executive develops profitable accounts in accordance with established annual premium and business growth objectives for custom account clients; further e nhance and develop the market's awareness of American Specialty's products and services in a positive, professional manner.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Responsible for the development and successful acquisition of new and renewal business revenue from new and existing custom account clients .

  • Provide risk management and insurance guidance to custom account clients.

  • Manage the marketing and placement of insurance coverage for custom account clients with outside carriers as needed.

  • Determine the most effective manner to present the insurance proposal to the client and/or broker. Be sensitive to feedback from clients/brokers and suggest modifications/enhancements in order to successfully write the account in accordance with underwriting goals.

  • Evaluate service requests from custom account clients and determine the best method to respond in compliance with standard industry protocols.

  • Manage custom account client relationships.

  • Any other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Maintain Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or this individual possesses the required commercial insurance sales expertise necessary to perform this role successfully

  • Excellent digital communication skills.

  • Strong writing, grammar and design skills.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Critical eye for detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.

  • Project management and organizational skills.

  • Polished professional with ambition, team spirit, strong work ethic, and ability to effectively work with and alongside people at all levels.
