Brown & Brown is seeking an Insurance O p erations Liaison to join our growing team in Milwaukee, WI!

The Insurance Operations Liaison will m onitor and assist in the compliance of the risk management (Insurance Operations) program for the office (both Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits). Identify areas of knowledge gaps for new and existing service and sales team members and develop learning programs to aid the delivery of exceptional customer service.

How You Will Contribute

  • Ensure that all sales and service team members follow established required com p liance documents through checklists and IO Manual.

  • U p date checklists, IO p ro cedures manual and other resources, as needed, for all team members to use.

  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring, including p ulling re p o rts and submitting to Cor p o rate as directed

  • Monthly Carrier or Third- P arty Audits - Carrier and third- p arty audits include, but are not limited to, audits p erformed by carriers, reinsurers, self-insured entities, and regulators, or audits p erformed by other p arties on their behalf.

  • Quarterly Book of Business (BOB) Re p o rt - To ensure that accounts are coded correctly and if any are assigned to inactive team members , that these accounts have been reassigned . Also, review emails and sus p ense items to ensure that outstanding items have also been re-assigned. This re p o rt can also be utilized to monitor billing com p any versus issuing com p any, p remiums, commission, fees, status codes, i.e. new, renewal, cancelled, etc.

  • Quarterly Service Center Accounts Re p o rt - To confirm that Service Center accounts are receiving the a p p ro p riate corres p o ndence and Com p ensation Disclosure; and service re p resentatives are not altering p o licies.

  • Annual Catastrophe Plan - Cadency Deployment - To update the CAT Manual annually, upload the current office client list and any new Team member Volunteer forms.

  • Act as administrator for all carrier websites and to confirm team members have a p p ro p riate access as requested by leadershi p .

  • Com p lete and submit all new carrier a p p o intment p a p erwork and ensure all carrier exce p tions are requested and renewed as a p p licable.

  • Coordinate and conduct Annual Self Audits.

  • Track, u p date and maintain all Wholesalers and MGAs Errors & Omissions certificates and licenses annually.

  • Annual Insurance Operations Reviews - Offices are re-reviewed every two years (unless they receive an Unsatisfactory Review Rating) to identify any potential Errors & Omission and to monitor for consistency, backlog, and/or team member (s) use of the system.

Skills & Ex p erience to Be Successful

  • P ro fi cient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.

  • P ro fi cient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, P o wer P o int, and P ublisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, s p readsheets, labels, etc.

  • P ro fi cient knowledge of the use of office equi p ment (including but not limited to co p y machines, p rinters, faxes, binding machine, etc.)

  • 3+ years' ex p erience with the organization

  • 5+ years' ex p erience in the insurance industry, or a related field.

  • College Degree in a business-related field or related job ex p erience.
