Remarketing Operations Specialist
Carrollton, TX (on-site)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven professional to join our team as a Remarketing Operations Specialist . This role is vital in supporting auction readiness by ensuring vehicle images meet quality standards and accurately represent the vehicles condition. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of internal processes and play a key role in evaluating vehicles through image-based inspections. This position is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and experience in vehicle operations or a related field.
Responsibilities:- Review and audit daily assigned vehicle lists using CSA Today images.
- Evaluate vehicle exteriors and assign condition grades based on image evidence.
- Inspect vehicle images vs standards to ensure presence of keys, ensure vehicle is clear of any items, verification of odometer reading and other standards as necessary.
- Follow standardized image grading and documentation procedures.
- Identify and flag inconsistencies or missing image components for follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide feedback to support process improvement initiatives.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality goals as outlined.
- Collaborate with IAA Branches, District Directors, and Regional VPs to ensure consistency and effectiveness in remarketing procedures.
- Track, measure, and report weekly on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program performance.
- Work with senior leadership to improve operations, set benchmarks, and drive company-wide efficiency.
- Oversee vehicle inventory to maximize profitability, ensure timely resale, and track availability.
- Manage remarketing vendors and ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Undertake additional projects as assigned
- Associates degree preferred.
- 3+ years progressive work experience in evaluating vehicle conditions.
- 3+ years in various roles from originations through collections.
- Recommended 3+ years of experience administratively reporting findings or results to leaders.
- 5+ years combined experience using software platforms such as CSA Today, Unitas, Excel or other like platforms.
- Solid, broad understanding of all aspects of vehicle remarketing.
- Strong knowledge of technology systems and vendors used in lending workflow applications, decision engine, credit bureau vendors, scorecard models, loan management systems, and pricing models.
- Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including administrative, sales, management, the leadership team and ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibility in current role.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time productively.
- Effective planning and organizational skills, along with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
- Expert skills in decision-making and problem-solving to be solutions oriented.
- Ability to be a self-starter who can readily adapt to a fast-paced, complex environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of auction operations to include experience with remarketing programs.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
