Commercial Insurance Assistant (Hybrid/Remote)

We are seeking a new Commercial Insurance Assistant to join our team. Your role will be to assist our customer service team in meeting the needs of commercial insurance policyholders. As a member of the Commercial lines customer service department, you will work with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives and report to our Office Manager.


What You Will Do:

  • Electronically attach documents
  • Review policy documents to verify accuracy in rating, typing and coverage
  • Document discrepancies and/or errors in reviewed policy documents
  • Prepare written correspondence
  • Process endorsement requests
  • Issue certificates of insurance and auto ID cards
  • Process cancellation notices
  • Process invoices
  • Maintain electronic files in an orderly, up-to-date manner
  • Maintain regular, pro-active communication with service team members

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • High School or GED
  • Property and Casualty Insurance
