Licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent (Hybrid)

Overview
We seek a motivated and dedicated Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting employer-group clients in selecting the right insurance products to meet their needs. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and building lasting relationships with clients.

Duties

  • Engage with potential clients through various channels, including telemarketing, networking, and outside sales efforts.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare RFPs to obtain quotations.
  • Prepare and present proposals to close sales.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Conduct follow-up communications to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions through effective sales administration practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for increasing market reach and improving service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or servicing life and health insurance accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing client accounts effectively.
  • A valid insurance license is required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is essential.
