has posted record growth since 2002 and is now a leading carrier in the Independent Life Brokerage Marketplace.

The Regional Brokerage Manager (RBM) will work along with the Regional Brokerage Director in the southern territory i.e. Illinois & Wisconsin.

The responsibilities will include:

Assess what strengths Prudential can bring to the assigned GA's and Producers (Product, Competitive Edge, Marketing Support...).

Through regular contact, ensure that we are meeting the GA / Producer needs and make critical follow-ups on all cases, opportunities, etc.

Act as the primary marketing representative of Prudential at various GA, Industry events in the territory.

Create and implement Business Action Plans

Regularly monitor progress toward objectives defined in the Business Action Plans, making adjustments and using progress as a way to reward those GA's that demonstrate allegiance to Prudential and show continued growth in Prudential Premium (and conversely, reduce commitment to those GA's that don't).

Represent Prudential in GA / Key Account meetings to develop strategic objectives in partnership with Key Accounts / GA's

Create realistic expectations and work toward a common understanding of those.

Advocate the GA / Producer's position on business matters, balanced against company policy, legal and compliance issues.

Work in partnership with the Territory RBD and all National Account Executives.

Work in partnership with the Brokerage Marketing Specialist team.

Use BAMS (Contact Management), PruXpress.com, Illustration software and all other tools with great frequency and precision.


The requirements for the RBM position is as follows:

-Most important is a willingness to work hard and enable the continuation of our ambitious profitable growth.

-We seek a team player that communicates well and intends to continue their career as a Life Brokerage Sales Executive with one of the true leaders in Brokerage.

-Have extensive industry knowledge and expertise with Life Insurance product application within the independent distribution marketplace. As one of our lead contacts for the Third Party Distribution force, these professionals must posses thorough knowledge of Prudential's product portfolio and administrative procedures.

-Leadership skills to direct and motivate others toward the achievement of objectives is essential.

-At least five years of experience in Life Brokerage is recommended along with a detailed knowledge level of the products, underwriting and competitive aspects of the business.

-NASD 6 and 63 registration is required for these position and CLU / ChFC (along with other industry designations) is desired. State Insurance license required for WI, IL

-Successful relationship management experience is critical to this position.

-A College Degree is recommended and Advanced Degrees are desirable but not required.

-PLEASE NOTE: Candidate will work remotely. Location is flexible, but strong preference for the Illinois or Wisconsin region.

The Life Product Wholesaling group is part of the Life Marketing and Sales Department of Individual Life Insurance and is responsible for proactively promoting the sale of Prudential Life products through Agency Distribution. Most members of the group are located outside the corporate offices although there is interaction with many corporate entities, such as Life Product Strategy, Life Education and Marketing, and the New Business Service teams.



Each Wholesaler is charged with achieving premium objectives from several assigned agencies. Among the critical functions of the role is working closely with the producers to develop and maintain strong business relationships, to strengthen case development skills, to build client presentations, and occasionally to accompany the producer to client meetings. The Life Product Wholesaler also partners with field management in developing Agency business plans designed to achieve the Life premium objectives and facilitate the flow and processing of life business.



The Wholesaler is part of a team within each Territory reporting to the Regional Director of Wholesaling. While each Wholesaler is primarily responsible for his/her assigned agencies, he/she also contributes to both the Territorial team and the entire Wholesaling group. Wholesalers deliver sales concepts, product information, competitive data and provide technical guidance for producers. Interaction with producers may be through large or small group meetings or through individual meetings.



The role involves significant travel, much of it overnight, within the assigned territory. Travel is generally 3 to 4 days each week.



All materials, concepts and ideas that wholesalers deliver are compliance approved.



This position may include agencies in any of the following states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. There is no move package available for the successful candidate.

- Wholesaling experience, preferably in Life products.



- A broad and comprehensive knowledge of the Life Insurance business, an understanding of the sales process and the dynamics of selling life products.



- Solid understanding of advanced markets, industry recognized designations such as CLU, CHFC, CFP are highly desirable.



- Excellent communication skills are essential.



- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.



- Solid understanding of compliance is expected.



- Life license required within 90 days of hire.



- NASD Series 6 or Series 7 registration required within 120 days of hire.

As a Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for providing technical, analytical and operational support to the Northeast Claims Region.
 
1.      Coordinate Claims Regional Strategic Planning activities with Line Managers including project management, data collection, status meetings,
          presentation format at Regional Manager's direction.   
    
2.      Support Line Managers on region programs where appropriate  i.e., learn process support, legal services, competitive gap analysis and special
          projects.
3.      Manage the Director of Adminstration providing direction on quality control inspections and programs in region, including market conduct exams and
         quality assurance.
 
4.      Manage the Business Analyst providing direction on budgeting, staffing,  various special projects that provide in-depth analysis at the request of the
         Line Managers.
5.      Participate in various committees and ensures Regional management is kept up-to-date on activities.
6.      May manage Special Investigations Unit, depending on prior experience.
7.      Ensure ongoing training needs are met to maintain the claim handling protocols and enhance business skills in the Line offices.
8.      Coordinate the Advanced Hire College Rotation Program.
9.      Act as the liaison and contact person for Public Relations and Public Affairs regarding regulatory, reform and complaint issues. 
10.  Assume responsibility in the Region Manager's absence.
11.  Handle other special projects as assigned.
Requires ability to travel - primarily to offices in NY and PA. 

Excellent organizational skills to coordinate activities and programs. Solid knowledge of theories and practices within the Claims field operations; knowledge of Claims management practices, Company operations and applicable policies. Previous successful claims management experience at the branch office level required (prior experience as a branch office claims manger preferred). Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus a minimum of 7 years of progressively more responsible related work experience required. Advanced insurance related designations/CPCU preferred.
