Job Title: Business Development Producer - Insurance Company: TD Bank Location: Camden, NJ Description: Description Promotes property and casualty, employee benefits, bond, professional insurance, Affinity business and/or other Company products and services in a designated region with an emphasis on developing new business from prospects. Partners with other sales personnel to close new business sales and to increase depth of relationships with existing clients. Identifies prospects and makes initial visits, developing general knowledge of their insurance and financial situations and partners with sales staff and other subject matter experts to develop and propose comprehensive solutions and close sales. Develops and maintains extensive network of industry contacts, referral sources and centers of influence and knowledge of insurance and other Company products. Excellent sales ability to be a "door opener" for new accounts Proven track record of sales results Natural aptitude for sales, with ability to interact, sell and negotiate with senior marketing and sales professionals in "blue-chip" prospects and clients Knowledge of various lines of insurance and insurance broker/underwriter experience preferred but not required Experience in multi-product and high-growth businesses preferred Initiative and drive to grow and build the business.
