Job Title: Health Insurance Consultant
Company: Net Cost Advisors
Location: San Diego, CA

Description:
Insurance consulting firm seeking a person with the skills and experience to research all options in the current marketplace for health insurance, and then to write reports on those options. These reports will be sent to prospective clients for free, as marketing tools to generate consulting business. We are not insurance brokers and we do not sell insurance. Instead, we help clients navigate the commercial insurance world, and assist clients in obtaining the lowest cost options for insurance. We have helped over 100 companies with their property & casualty insurance since we started in 2002. Now, we are moving into health insurance consulting. The background needed is someone that has significant understanding of health insurance, likely with many years in the industry, and with good research and writing skills. The research portion of the job is primarily to talk to brokers about all options in the marketplace. The person can be currently employed, and can complete the report writing on the side for an agreed upon hourly rate. Alternately, we are open to bringing the right person on full time to also act as a consultant to clients (see attached). At the very least, we will be writing reports for 3 segments of the industry: 0-50 lives, 50-200 lives, and 200 lives or more. The reports will describe all options, give some background on factors to consider, and will also give tips on how to make sure the client is obtaining the lowest possible cost. Please do not respond if you do not have a significant amount of experience in the health insurance field, working on accounts with 100 or more lives.
