Position Description: To assist and manage accounts for high level, dynamic, insurance salesperson. Objective: To enhance relationships with prospects and clients. Work as a team with the producer in providing a dynamic spectrum of innovative strategies to develop and maintain our customers insurance risk management needs. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Active Participation in client presentations for new and renewal business. Development of new business and renewal strategies – including preparing specifications and submission material for marketing, securing underwriting information and analyzing existing coverage as well as making recommendations to clients. Thorough analysis of forms, policy terms, conditions and coverage issues. Awareness and in-depth knowledge of current marketplace for account placement including, coverage enhancements, price negotiation and alternative risk services. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years prior insurance experience. Current P&C Brokers License. CIC Designation or advanced designation required. Proficiency in insurance coverages with good working knowledge of complex issues and markets. Proficient computer skills particularly with Word and Excel. Proven effective direct presentation capabilities. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written. Well organized and able to multi-task effectively. Flexible to changing priorities. Possesses a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel to visit clients and attend various industry functions as required.
