This Insurance Assistant position is responsible for monitoring the workflow of orders coming into the insurance agency and ensuring required turnaround deadlines are met. Monitoring orders and other correspondence coming into the department e-mail box, ordering title searches from vendor, tracking incoming and outgoing orders, setting up files for incoming orders, disbursing files to agents and tracking that the commitment was completed prior to deadline, ordering updates, preparing monthly invoices, filing and research, back-up for other associates in the department which includes telephone coverage. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Successful candidate must have an eye for detail and be accustom to working in deadline oriented environments. Must also have good organizational, analytical, communication and customer service skills. Must be knowledgeable and familiar with Word, Excel and Spreadsheets. Preference for individuals with some knowledge of title insurance, the real estate closing process and mortgage.
