Relocation assistance available. Conduct extensive data analysis to develop pricing recommendations. Utilize analytical software such as SAS, Pretium, or other analytical / multivariate / predictive modeling tools to develop new pricing strategies or products. Mine large amounts of internal and external data to identify new product segments. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in mathematics, statistics, business, insurance, economics or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2 years of analyst experience in a corporate environment. Prior insurance experience of 3 to 7 years is preferred. Strong analytical and technical skills with software such as (but not limited to) Excel, SAS, Pretium, SQL, and/or comparable analytical / multivariate tools. Requires strong problem solving including the ability to compile and analyze information using existing tools / models, building/creating new ones and then present and support recommendation to peers, Product Managers, General Managers, and Departments of Insurance. Must be able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with all levels of management and staff. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Current or previous actuarial experience a plus.
