DESCRIPTION:
As the marketplace changes, consumers are demanding choices in the products they purchase and the way they do business with companies. Prudential is responding to this trend by establishing an alternate distribution channel by which current and prospective customers may purchase insurance over the telephone. Sales associates will be responsible for accepting sales leads from various sources and assisting clients in business decisions through superior sales skills. This position provides sales leads and does not require cold calling, and some potential purchases may already have an existing relationship with Prudential. Specific responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to, the following:
-Conduct tele-sales including needs analysis, providing quote(s), product recommendation, application submission and contract delivery via telephone and mail.
-Make appropriate recommendations to the customer regarding the appropriate amount of insurance and coverage to meet their needs.
-Meet established production goals for Individual Life Insurance and quality standards with customers and partners.
-Receive and manage leads from multiple sources (internet, inbound calls, etc), contact prospective purchasers, conduct follow-up calls/interviews, maintain ongoing relationship with customer for future sales/conversion opportunities
The compensation for this position includes a guaranteed base salary with the opportunity to earn bonuses based on sales performance. Total compensation potential with top performance is 50-90K.
-2 years of successful tele-sales experience preferred
-Ability to communicate in a clear and efficient manner over the telephone
-Current life or securities licenses or the ability to become licensed within 3 months of employment
