Description: Position Title: Commercial Insurance Account Executive Reports To: Operations Team and Senior Vice President Job Description: We are looking for a high-level service person to work with our top selling Senior Vice President in managing and developing existing client relationships. 50% of your time will be spent in the field working directly with clients. If you are an Account Manager or Client Manager tired of sitting behind a desk, and believe you have more to offer to clients, then this position may be for you. You will be responsible for identifying client services needs, structuring plans to meet those needs, engaging the appropriate resources and tracking the successful completion of the associated activities. All work must meet or exceed client expectations. Major Responsibilities 1. Identify client service needs through client interviews, review of loss history reports, discussions with Chapman service team staff, etc.2. Create a service plan that addresses a client’s needs including the involvement of Chapman and carrier resources to deliver services3. Monitor and track the successful completion of service activities and review the status with clients4. Assist with identifying “round out” coverage opportunities 5. Participate in creating and delivering seminars and workshops for existing and prospective clients6. Keep Senior Vice President fully informed of all important activities on their accounts7. Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by producer or department manager. Qualifications 1. Must possess exceptional interpersonal, listening, organization and initiative-taking skills2. Commercial insurance industry experience of at least 5 years, preferably as an Account Manager or Client Service Liaison if required. 3. College degree preferred, but high school diploma or equivalent is required4. Professional designation is a plus5. Knowledge of computer systems such as MS Office and Agency Management applications are needed
