CONSTRUCTION COST ENGINEER/COST ESTIMATOR Location: Pittsburgh, PA Description: Multiple positions open in the Construction Cost Estimating Division for a growing and expanding Consulting firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The team member(s) will support this division by performing various Cost Engineering / Cost Estimating tasks including; but not limited to: Quantity Surveys (take-off), Data Input & Analysis, Project Schedule Development & Management, Construction Market Studies, Labor Productivity Studies, Client Relations, Value Engineering & Management and overall Project Constructability Analysis. Services will apply small renovations to multi-million dollar high-profile new commercial construction projects as well as large Civil and Industrial projects. Geographic locations will include the entire United States and Abroad. Moderate travel is required and overnight stays are necessary.Advanced knowledge of construction practices and procedures, the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and Building Systems Format (BSF) are required. Understanding of Microsoft Office ? i.e Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is necessary.
