Description: SE Area insurance agency looking for agency manager. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the agency's day to day operation. It will include everything from filing to underwriting policies.
Job description
-Set and monitor sales and customer service goals
-Help manage day to day operation
-Establish and monitor employee incentive program
-Work to rewrite employee manual
-Review and change current forms, letters and applications
-Manage S / L tax filing process
-Assist with underwriting
-Hire, Fire, and complete employee job reviews
-Train staff on coverages and develop phone scripts
-Write and rate policies
-Program and change Applied letters
In summary, we are looking for the right person to join our team that wants to make this job their own! You will touch all aspects of the agency operation A to Z. We want someone with new ideas and willing to jump in and be part of the team (hit the ground running). You must have prior insurance experience to apply for this job. Applied computer knowledge a plus!
Skills / Requirements
Skills must include-
-Knowledge of Applied Systems
-Commerical Lines Experience (including Excess and Surplus Lines)
-Personal Lines Experience
-Must have good computer skills (excel and word)
-Prior personnel management experience
-Must have good oral and written communication skills
-Must have current P&C license
-Ability to handle difficult customers
-Must be able to solve problems and work independently
