Description: Manages assigned caseload of FMLA claims and some integrated claims including FMLA and disability. Inputs claimant medical and demographic data; evaluates claimant eligibility and develops plan to address obstacles. Interacts with internal and external customers including, but not limited to, claimants, employers, physicians, attorneys etc. to gather the information needed to manage the claim. Validates payment period, follows up and monitors payment accuracy and timeliness. Provides technical direction to other claims personnel as needed.Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong written and communication skills demonstrated in previous work experienceSpecific experience with collaboratve negotiationsProven skills in positive and effective interaction with challenging customersExperience in effectively meeting / exceeding individual professional expectations and team goalsDemonstrated analytical and math skillsAbility to exercise sound judgementHigh level of flexibility to adapt to the needs of the organizationsPC skills preferred (i.e. Windows based environment)College degree and prior claim experience preferred.
